Teen clings to life after weekend 400 crash

August 27, 2008 15:08

One teen is still in critical condition in a Toronto hospital after last weekend’s crash on Highway 400.

Five were ejected from the Toyota 4 Runner, which was heading southbound in Barrie around noon.

A 19-year-old Toronto man died from his injuries, and three others in the vehicle were relased from Royal Victoria Hospital Monday.

The 17-year-old Mississauga teen is at St. Michael’s Hospital with a broken back and head injuries.

The SUV flipped over the steel guardrail into the northbound lanes, and no one had a seatbelt on at the time of the crash.
