No footprints left in snow

November 18, 2008 12:11

Barrie Police is looking into an earlier break and enter to a Loggers Run home.

On Monday, a resident felt a breeze coming from the basement, and found a basement window was open. She said it looked like the burglar was frightened off, and there weren’t any footprints in the snow, so it happened before the weekend.

No one was hurt in that fight. The man was ordered not to contact her anymore, but she called police Monday to say he had immediately phoned her and left a message. He ran away from Barrie and is wanted by police.

Licence suspension
A 52-year-old Markham man was stopped for speeding by Barrie OPP early Saturday morning. Officers pulled him over on Highway 11 by Gasoline Alley.
